Spring has sprung…or in the case of Florida…spring has high-tailed it out of here and made way for summer! Spring always makes me think of gardens, flowers, and BEES! The kids and I have never done an in-depth study of bees, so I thought now would be the perfect time to start studying them!

When I first begin planning a unit study for my kiddos, my first step is always choosing books. You probably deduced that on your own if you have read any of my previous book obsessed posts! So, as I began to gather information for this new unit on bees, I began by searching out books! We have oodles of non-fiction books that are amazing and we will absolutely be utilizing! However, for the sake of this post, I am focusing on beautiful, lovely, delicious picture books! There is something about a picture book that just makes knowledge lovely and accessible!
